Boreas Tunnelling based in the Netherlands are recruiting for the following positions:

GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEER EXPERT(s)

Responsibilities:

1. Collect, review and update existing data and information on geotechnical aspects of the project;

2. Geotechnical assessment of the tunnel alignment, quantification of probable extraordinary conditions along the tunnel alignment, and prepare precaution measures to be taken during tunneling through those conditions;

3. Review the existing geotechnical parameters and recommend additional assessment and investigation of geotechnical parameters;

4. Review the method statement of TBM tunneling submitted by

5. the Contractor and recommend for approval or modification;

6. Foundation analysis for various structures and responsible to conduct necessary tests and interpretation of the outputs including foundation geological mapping;

7. Drainage and grouting system location, design, and installation;

8. Instrumentation design and supervision of installation, materials

9. testing (fills) fill placement supervision and testing;

10. Surface excavation support design and supervision including stress and rock property investigation and measurement.
